Sales tax is applied to invoices according to the customer’s country and state or province, using our payment partner's constantly updated tax logic.

New customers who are exempt from paying taxes may enter their tax ID on the checkout while the existing customers can add it to their receipt to be eligible for a tax refund. Otherwise, customers may contact the Paddle Buyer Support team at assist@paddle.com with a copy of their tax-exempt certification or documentation along with their order ID for assistance with this.

Our payments provider "Paddle" now collects federal tax on top of the existing provincial taxes on B2C and B2B purchases made by customers located within all provinces and territories of Canada.
