Nav Map

When to use the Nav Map?

When putting your rooms together, Metareal Stage will automatically add a connection between panoramas that have line of sight so you can travel easily between them. Maybe you want to connect panoramas that don't have line of sight though, like when you have closed doors between adjoining rooms. Or maybe you want to delete connections, so you don't end up flying through furniture.

Activating the Nav Map

In your project dashboard, click Edit Tour, and you'll be taken to the Tour Editor.

Click Visual Guides, and check the Nav Map option:

And the Nav Map will appear on your floorplan in Plan View:

You can also activate it in Model View:

Add connections

Click on one of the pano dots:

And this pane will appear:

Click Connect To, then click on the pano dot you would like to connect the current pano to:

The two panoramas will now be connected.

Change connection type

Two types:

There are two connection types available in Metareal Stage:

Travel (zip between panoramas - grey color)
Teleport (fade between panoramas - blue color)

Change one connection:

To change the type of transition between two panoramas, click on the connection, then switch between connection types:

You can do this in Model View as well.

Change multiple connections:

Make sure you're in Plan View, then click Select under Enable to multi-select transitions:

Then click and drag your cursor across your floorplan until the bounding box has all the connections you would like to change:

Then under Transition, change the connection type and click Apply:

Change all connections:

If you would like to change the transition type for all connections, no need to select. Just change the transition type under Transition, and click Apply All.

Delete connections

Delete one connection

Click on the connection, then click Disconnect, or press DEL on your keyboard.

Delete multiple connections

Make sure you're in Plan View, then click Select under Enable to multi-select transitions (or Select All if you would like to delete all connections):

Then click and drag your cursor across your floorplan until the bounding box has all the connections you would like to change:

Then press DEL on your keyboard.

NOTE: If you have text on top of a pano dot or connection, you may have a hard time selecting it. In those cases, move the text to a different place first, then just move it back if you want after the pano connections have been edited.
