Optimized Built for you workflow

  • To shorten the time it takes our production team to build your tours, we've implemented a lot of behind-the-scenes work to speed up their workflow. As a user, you won't see most of it, but we're confident these changes will help us bring our average production time back down to 2 working days* despite the increased demand.

*Longer tours may take longer to process. We'll always give you a heads-up before we start work.

Desktop VR

  • VR Mode (via WebXR) now available on Desktop (Rift/Vive/WMR) with the Firefox browser (make sure to have your VR headset plugged into your machine)

Source images

  • You can now sort your source images alphabetically, or by the date you took them
  • Image quality is now preserved when images have to be resized upon upload
  • Hitting New Room automatically clears your selection for Source Images, so you don't have to keep manually unselecting images when creating rooms

Faster editing

  • New doors are now automatically set to closed, so even if you forget to change them you won't have random holes in your tours. Faster to switch between door types now too
  • Longer and fainter cursor cross hairs when drawing floors, so you can match lines easier
  • The Room Editor now remembers which pano-snapping mode you used last time, so you don't have to keep switching between modes

Floorplan & model view

  • Quickly make an object visible in the floorplan by selecting it and checking "Visible in Floorplan"

  • Premium users can now change the background color of their Model view
  • Initial camera position for floorplan & model view can now be set
  • Show/hide rooms from your floorplan and/or model view by toggling visibility

Labels

  • You can now jump to different sections or different tours with labels.

1. Publish your tour without the label first

2. Open your published tour, and navigate to the spot & angle you want the viewer to jump to upon clicking the label

3. Copy the URL, then trim out the first part so you're left with something like:

position=YOURPOSITION&rotation=YOURROTATION

4. Back in the tour editor, add a new label, and under Link To, type:

teleport://position=YOURPOSITION&rotation=YOURROTATION

5. Republish your tour, and when your viewer clicks on that label, they'll now be taken to the spot you linked to within the current tour

1. Publish the tour you want to link to

2. Open your published tour, and navigate to the spot & angle you want the viewer to jump to upon clicking the label

3. Copy the entire URL (not just the position and rotation parameters)

4. In your second tour, go to the tour editor, add a new label, and under Link To paste the URL

5. (Optional) Have the link open in the same tab, for a more seamless experience

6. Publish your tour, and when your viewer clicks on that label, they'll now be taken to the other tour you linked to
